Sweet Note Bakery sent me some of their gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free bagels to try and all opinions are my own. I have been gluten and dairy free for almost 4 years, and to this day the only things I really miss are Pizza, Kaiser Rolls and NY Bagels!! There are a few different GF bagels out there but they either contain milk, are not the right consistency or they have to be baked and never come out right for me. Who knew the closest GF version of a NY bagel would have to be found in Pennsylvania!! Their bagels are available in 6 different flavors - plain, everything, cinnamon raisin, sesame, poppy and their new vegan flax bagel. They are sold in over 60 locations (cafes, restaurants, grocery stores) throughout PA, NJ, NY, MD, DE and online.

I tried the Everything, Plain and Cinnamon Raisin bagels. The consistency was great - soft on the inside with a slight chewy crunch on the outside! All you have to do is microwave them for 1 minute and then toast them. I personally didn't like the Cinnamon Raisin but loved the Everything and the Plain! My GF kids loved them too. The 2 mornings I had them my daughter kept coming back for more tastes. When she saw the empty plate she was not a happy camper!
My son was already at school when my daughter and I had the Everything and Cinnamon Raisin for breakfast so I made him the plain bagel (and he decided he wanted cream cheese with raisins on top) and he was a very big fan!

Michelle was a baker by hobby and passion and decided to go for it and turn it in to a business. In the summer of 2013 her sister also became diagnosed with Celiac. Sweet Note recently expanded in to a new facility in Manayunk, PA so they can meet the growing demand.
