Our children are our most precious commodity. They cannot be replaced and we try to protect them and prepare them for the world the best that we can. Their health is always a main concern, especially for a parent. As a mother, we often kiss booboos, wipe tears, and sooth the little whimpers away. But what happens when it’s something more than what we can fix ourselves? Time to call the pediatrician!
Since my babies have been born, we have been going to Wolf Pediatrics (formerly Nataloni Pediatrics). My daughter, who just turned 2, seems to have a pretty serious chronic condition called periodic fever syndrome (of which there are several types). She gets 105 degree fevers monthly, which comes with its own complications. This is a rare disease and not very common. While she is not yet officially diagnosed, we have been visiting many doctors in the area.During this whole process, the staff at Wolf Pediatrics has been amazing. The staff is friendly and understanding, even when it’s my third phone call of the day. No one ever seems annoyed that I am calling again or making yet another appointment.Everyone is always eager to help.
Dr. Wolf, who owns the practice, has been nothing short of a saint. She herself is a mother of two young boys so she understands all the various aspects of life raising children. She is so caring that she even calls to check up on my daughter to see how she is doing. She has become a very much needed support during this trying time. She is a passionate advocate for what is best for my child, even when it seems to be an upward battle. Dr. Santos and Dr. Moore who also are in the practice are amazing. We have had many visits with Dr. Santos, who always makes my children laugh and smile, even though she probably just stuck them with a needle at a well visit. She makes me feel like my kids are special and that she shares in my joy when they have reached a milestone or accomplished something to make us all proud.
Not only are the people awesome, but the way the office is set up is also. They have separate well visit waiting areas and sick visit waiting areas, which I always appreciate, especially when my children were babies. The fun atmosphere helps put children at ease as their waiting rooms and patient rooms all have murals such as princesses, Toy Story, Mickey Mouse, and more.
I cannot recommend Wolf Pediatrics enough. If you are pregnant and looking for a pediatrician or are trying to find a new one, you will have hit a home run if you choose them.
They say it takes a village to raise a child; I’m glad that they are a part of mine.
I am also very proud that Wolf Pediatrics won a 2018 Gold Daisy Award for Best Pediatrics. Come and discover why they are so well loved.
