This year to celebrate National Random Act of Kindness Day, we decided to donate some children's books! This was a great way to weed out our collection of what the kids had duplicates of or have outgrown. I gathered up our 20+ books and gathered a list of local Little Free Library spots for us to donate to.

National Random Act of Kindness Day is celebrated each February 17. The day is meant to inspire you to do something kind for a stranger. There is no reason though to only limit this to one day a year. Click here to find 50+ ways to spread kindness in our community.
Little Free Library's mission is a "nonprofit that builds community, inspires readers, and expands book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led little libraries," according to their website. You have probably seen them before, but perhaps didn't know what it was. With dozens around Long Island, these little libraries offer adult and children books alike.
