Erin, nominating her mom Anita

🌷🌷🌷

My mommy is amazing because she works really hard at home and at work. She is beautiful and helps me with everything and is always there for me and my little sister. She helps other kids and their families at work. She is so compassionate and the most best mom in the history of all moms. She is the sweetest, kindest mommy and when I grow up, I want to be just like her!  She deserves to pampered at a spa day for Mother’s Day!!

Jawaad, nominating Sakina

🌷🌷🌷

She is my daughter and is raising 2 little boys and doing a fantastic job..... Spends quality time with her boys while still keeping up with her house and working full time.  I would love to be able to send her to the East Wind for a spa day.

Ann, nominating her daughter Michele

Lori is a mother of two with a medically fragile child that she’s been caring for since birth. Her husband was diagnosed with cancer and has been battling tirelessly, and Lori does what she can to keep the family operating as well as round-the-clock care for her child. Recently, Lori was also diagnosed with cancer and has been undergoing both radiation and chemo. She always puts her family first and truly deserves to feel special. I don’t think she’s ever taken herself to a spa and this would be a magical day for her :-)

Lisa, nominating Lori

🌷🌷🌷

Ria is a mother of two, Ezra age 3 and Analise age 10 months and is raising her kids with a love of the outdoors, not the electronics. She recently started holding enrichment classes in her backyard for 2-5 year olds, in order to have some type of income since she is a stay at home mom. Her classes are amazing and she works hard to prepare amazing themes and activities each week and runs the classes all by herself!  And the kids love it... and her.

Rose, nominating Ria

🌷🌷🌷

Emma is the kindest, most caring, and generous person that I know. She is a Mom to three kids, the most recent of whom was born amidst the early weeks of the COVID 19 pandemic. Regardless of the situation, Emma faithfully volunteers at a local food pantry, has served on local PTO boards, continues to care for her three children, all while working remotely from home! She is dedicated to being active in her kids lives and showing them how to care for others through the example of her life. Emma is an amazing Mom because she cares deeply for others, putting their needs above her own. Happy Mother's Day Emma!

Matthew, nominating Emma

🌷🌷🌷

She shuffles her two young boys to all of their many activities, stays so organized, and still manages to have fun!!

Susan, nominating Lindsay

🌷🌷🌷

My mom has been a thoughtful and caring mom since she was 17.  She was a single mother of 3 kids while working and also obtaining her degree.  She puts everyone before herself and goes above and beyond for ANYONE.  She would give a stranger the shirt off of her back.  She showed us a good work ethic and even better integrity.  Not only is she the best mom, but she is also the universe's best Grandmother to her 3 grandchildren!!! She is so selfless and deserves to be pampered.

Shanna, nominating her mom Nancy

🌷🌷🌷

Because she gives 150% of herself to her daughter, grandson, and elderly parents. She was a caretaker to her deceased husband for 10+ years and now doing the same for her parents. She deserves a break. She’s also a wonderful human being.

Nicole, nominating Lola

🌷🌷🌷

Theresa is a pediatric Nurse Practitioner for over 25 years. She is continually asked for and families have wonderful experiences with her She shows empathy to each patient, making a true effort to put themselves in their patient's shoes. By practicing empathy, Theresa is more likely to treat her patients as “people” and focus on a person-centered care approach, rather than strictly following routine guidelines. She interprets, conveys and effectively communicates with other nurses, physicians, disciplines across other units, patients, and their families I am Theresa’s twin sister. More times than I can count a family will tell me about the amazing she is. “She treats people just as important as her own family member “ Laura, a family member of the patient  “She is an expert in the field of pediatrics”   “somehow you knew what I needed and took care of me before I asked “ - Amy patient mother  “She puts her best into what she does. Well informed, experienced, and excellent communication. I appreciate having such a skilled nurse looking after my son “ Greg, Patient's Father  Throughout this last year of Covid-19, Theresa sees non-Covid related patients. Showing the importance of well visits and other medical issues.  I hope you pick her. She is well known in our community (and surrounding towns) Her reputation holds her own. Thank you, twin sister, Irene

Irene, nominating her twin sister Theresa

🌷🌷🌷

There are so many little reasons, but the main one is she is the most dedicated and loving mother to our son. She works endlessly to help him become the best person he can be by constantly teaching him. Her affection toward him truly never ends, it only grows.

Alex, nominating Kerry

🌷🌷🌷

She is my best friend and a great mom to two beautiful girls. She always puts her girls and her husband first and also me and everyone else around her. She deserves to be pampered and just have a special day to herself.

Sabrina, nominating her best friend Gia

🌷🌷🌷

She goes above and beyond for all of her children, whether biological; adopted; step; or nieces/nephews. She never takes time out for herself.

Michelle, nominating Dawn

🌷🌷🌷

My daughter-in-law is a very caring and loving mom to her daughter Gianna. She goes out of her way to keep her healthy and safe. Weekends are spent doing fun stuff with her daughter. Soccer, restaurants, dance, go-carts, etc. She really deserves a spa day for herself!!

Denise, nominating her daughter-in-law Christina

🌷🌷🌷

Sally is my sister-in-law. Not only is she the most devoted mom to her two sons, but she also fills a “mom” like role to both my husband and me as wonderful sister/sister-in-law.

Jamie, nominating her sister-in-law Sally

🌷🌷🌷

My wife is one of a kind. She’s an amazing mother to our daughter and is carrying our 2nd child with such grace all while managing my business and her own! She never stops, never expects anything in return, & is always just looking for ways to make other people’s days better.  She hasn’t been going to get her regular facials since we’ve been so busy with work, our daughter, & the pregnancy but I’d love it if she won this because then she’d have to go & take some ME time!

Matthew, nominating his wife Antoinette

🌷🌷🌷

This is my mom. She is an amazing person who constantly puts everyone else’s needs before hers.  In December 2019 after months of looking after him and her mom and sister with Cerebral Palsy, she lost her Dad. The following August she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and underwent a double mastectomy followed by 5 months of Chemo and now Radiation while working and caring for me and my two sisters. She has been the strongest and most positive person through all of this and I’d like to say thank you. She and my Dad were married at East Wind in 1999 so this would be an awesome gift.

Carter, nominating his mom Debbie

🌷🌷🌷

My mom is a nurse and she is working morning to night for Stony Brook Hospital for over 30 years. She is caring for her husband who also works for Stony brook hospital for over 30 years. He is in ER for his heart and she also cares for her 95-year-old mom and provided a home for her 2 grandkids. She does nothing for herself and gives her free time to St. Pauls Church. She gives covid results all day and helps anyone in need. She is really an amazing woman. She shows selfless love and I wish I could do anything to give her a little pick me up. She really deserves it.

Marlise, nominating her mom Karin

🌷🌷🌷

Larissa is not only an amazing mom to 4 beautiful kids under the age of 10  but she is also a full-time essential worker in Eastern Suffolk Hospital.   During the pandemic, she worked full time and never received any compensation pay, or days off.  Her husband is a corrections officer so with their busy opposite schedules she never has much time for herself.  I would love to see her take a day to pamper herself.

Karen, nominating Larissa

🌷🌷🌷

She is the rock of our family. She puts everyone first before herself. She is always there for me no matter what. I’d be lost without her and I’m thankful for her every day. She deserves the world and a relaxing day of pampering she would love

Jamie, nominating Nanette

🌷🌷🌷

This mom is amazing because she is my mom, she raised me to be the woman I am today. Growing up she always put my brother and me as her priority. We didn't have a lot of money but she and my dad worked so hard and gave us everything they could. Flash forward to 3 years ago when my father passed away tragically. It's been so tough on my mom - she works two jobs. putting in long hours just to make ends meet. She so deserves this a day at the spa for some time to relax and forget about her stress!!!!

Nicole, nominating her mom Wendy

🌷🌷🌷

My mother-in-law was an RN for 55 years in labor & delivery, working nights, while still raising 5 amazing kids. I lost my mom to cancer 18 years ago, but she took me in her heart as one of her own when I married her son 9 years ago. She’s a gracious, giving, selfless, straightforward, generous, beautiful, and funny mom, grandmother & great grandmother, and just one of the best people I know ❤️

Kara, nominating her mother-in-law Kathryne

🌷🌷🌷

I am nominating my mother for the spa and salon at East Wind. I had a baby in July 2020 and it was extremely hard because of covid. My mother lives 7 hours away and came to stay with me and my husband when we had our baby. On top of having a newborn, we also bought a house in October. So my mother not only took care of her new grandson but also helped pack our house and unpack our house when we moved. My Mom is in her late 70’s and she is amazing, she will drop everything she is doing to help her four children at any time. After 3 ½ months of living in our new house, my husband passed away. I was devastated, again my mother stopped everything she was doing and came to live with me. I waited my entire life to find love and to start a family later in my life due to pursuing my career. Now in one heartbeat, it was taken all way and without my parent’s support, especially my mother’s I am not sure I would be standing only two months out of losing my husband. My mother has helped take care of the baby, the two other kids and again is helping to pack my house. I know she is no spring chicken and had knee surgery last year and can’t do everything she has been doing in the past. I will have to move again but there is a lot that goes into homeownership. She is also helping my dad in painting the porch and other jobs around the house while I am at work. Owning a home requires lots of responsibility and now being a single mom does too. I have no family that lives local and my mom has come to live with me for the time being. The other day she told me she hasn’t had a haircut in a good year because of covid and now that she has been staying with me. I would love to give her a special gift this Mother’s Day. She could use some pampering time because she is always helping others.

Jessica, nominating her mom Pat

🌷🌷🌷

My mom has gone above and beyond not only for me but for my younger brother back when I was 6 years old my mother was in a very bad car accident she was nearly killed by a drunk driver and I almost lost my mom miraculously she got off the respirator she learns how to walk again and still to this day she has medical conditions that she sustained from the accident she had three back surgeries she has a neck surgery she had three knee surgeries and still to this day my mom thinks about us and everyone else before putting herself first and that's why I'm nominating my mom for a chance to win because she's never done anything for herself she's done for myself my brother her family and everyone else before herself and I think it's about time that she could be recognized to see just how much of a mom she is and I'm so grateful that God gave me the mom that he gave me he chose my mom to be my mother thank you

Robert, nominating his mom Marie

🌷🌷🌷

The way she takes care of everyone in her life. My kids, her students, her family, and me. She truly cares about everyone she comes in contact with.

Roger, nominating Andrea

🌷🌷🌷

Danielle is an AMAZING mom for many reasons. First, she is an incredible mom to 3 kids, ages 17,13, and 9. They all keep her very busy and on her toes. She has her youngest, Travis home virtual learning due to a concussion. Her middle, Christopher suffers from ODD, which can be trying at times. Maddie, her oldest is a Senior and graduating and going away to school in the Fall. Next, Danielle inspires me to always see the positive in the negative. She suffers every day from the rare autoimmune disease P.O.T.S., Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. She goes to infusions weekly and has frequent Dr. visits as well. Her disease is very painful at times, but she doesn’t let it define the GREAT mom and friend that she is. She is ALWAYS there for her kids despite how she’s feeling. Her kids are her life. She is also a Jill of ALL trades! I don’t know how she does it!! As you can see, Danielle is the M.O.M. ..Master of Multitasking. If anyone deserves a spa day, it’s Danielle and not to worry, I’ll make sure she’s ok and not alone, as I’ll book a day, too, lol.

Susan, nominating Danielle

🌷🌷🌷

Denise has to be the most amazing Mom I know. She is a single mom to a wonderful 10-year-old girl. She has raised her autistic daughter for the last 6 years on her own. She has managed to get her daughter through many therapies for speech and eating challenges. She has helped her daughter to challenge herself academically. She has shielded her daughter from the downsides of divorce and made her feel safe and loved throughout. I have watched as she has welcomed my daughters into her life and heart over the last 2 years. She works hard to provide for her daughter financially, emotionally, and spiritually. I can think of nobody more deserving than Denise.

Brian, nominating Denise

🌷🌷🌷

After losing my father (her husband) recently to cancer, my mom had to learn to live again. As she was just starting to understand how to, in December 2020 she was feeling "ill" for a couple of days. Finally, one of the days she asked to be taken to the ER with shortness of breath, turns out after driving like a maniac thinking it was covid-19 my mother was actually having a heart attack! Unknowingly we dropped her off at the ER ( nobody is allowed in due to covid-19 unless you were being treated) circled for a good hour, waiting for her call, an hour later we received a call from the doctor that the surgery went well. We were in complete shock making sure he had the right patient. They find out a couple of minutes later my mother would have died. She was 99% blocked in her Widowmaker artery. She made a full recovery and less than two months later was back at work. She has changed her diet along with starting to finally get all the medical help needed. My mom is 100% back to being a mother, a grandmother, and a friend.

Stacey, nominating her mom Debra

🌷🌷🌷

Susan is a mom of three wonderful boys. One of her sons is very sick. She home schools all three in addition to working. She deserves some pampering.

Sarabeth, nominating Susan

🌷🌷🌷

Sarah-Jean has been the rock of our family.  We have 3 amazing children that she has stayed home to raise while also working part-time jobs.  In 2007, we were blessed with twins but they were born prematurely.  Our one son, Aidan, passed three days after birth.  Our surviving son, Andrew, endured over 15 surgeries and made tremendous progress.  Sadly, he passed away 10 days shy of his 2nd birthday.  Since then, Sarah has helped raise over 50k dollars for the March of Dimes. She has worked tirelessly to keep his memory alive and ensure that our children know all about him.  The courage and strength to go through something like this and to continue and persevere are unmatched.   While she is the rock for our family, she also struggles with all of these things as any mother would.  She could really deserve some extra special treatment like this for always being our SUPERMOM.

Eric, nominating Sarah-Jean

🌷🌷🌷

My wife Kelly became a Mom of our first daughter Lauren 14 years ago. She left a job as a Teacher’s Assistant at Eastern Suffolk Boces after 15 years to become a full-time Mother. She put her career on hold to take care of our 3 children Lauren, Taylor, and Declan. My wife always puts herself last when it comes to life. After 26 years I was forced to retire early from the respiratory illnesses that I incurred while I was participating in the Recovery at Ground Zero. My wife has always been there to care for my children and me. She is the most supportive and nurturing person I know. I’m not just saying that because she’s my wife, anyone you talk to will tell you. From our senior neighbors or our family at the firehouse, she is the one that is always there to help. My wife is my soulmate and the glue that keeps our family together.

Harry, nominating his wife Kelly

🌷🌷🌷

My mom is an amazing 74 year old who helps me with my two autistic sons.  She is always there for me when I need her. When I call her she answers right away and when I need her help she is always there within minutes.  She always helps her children and grandchildren before helping herself.  My mom definitely needs some pampering!

Samantha, nominating her mom Carol

🌷🌷🌷

Even though she has numerous health issues, Michelle always puts her kids first. Working around her doctor's appointments and living in pain, she does whatever she can to make her 3 young kids happy. Whether it's taking time after work to take them to do something fun or making sure their favorite lunches are packed every day for school, she goes above and beyond at all times to make sure her kids are taken care of. She is truly the best mom around!

Once married, we faced a tremendous challenge to have children. She endured countless tests..needles..invasive treatments and after 10 years our twin miracles were born. Fast fwd to covid 19 -she never missed a beat with our children's education when schools closed all while still teaching her own students virtually. God bless all the moms this mother's day and be thankful for what has always been there - her love.

Eric, nominating his wife Jamie
