Take Your Child to the Library Day Come to the Library anytime between 2 and 4 p.m. to enjoy such festivities as: carnival games, face painting, temporary tattoos, balloon sculpting, crafts & more. Every new Library Card signup will be entered in a special raffle! Thursday, Feb. 20 No need to register ● For families with children Birth – Grade 6 Why do children need to come to the Library? • Books, Audio Books & Read-alongs promote literacy & a lifetime of reading for pleasure & learning! • Computers & free WiFi provide access to technology and online resources to develop digital literacy skills regardless of family income. • Movies & music provide additional opportunities for both family entertainment & education. • Story times & performances are interactive and hands-on learning experiences. • Toys & puzzles encourage fine motor skills, gross motor skills, coordination & more.
