Description
Before there was Salem, there was Stony Brook. Hidden Beneath the Floorboards leads you through a spooky walking tour of the history filled Grist Mill and Long Island’s beloved coastal village. Discover Ghost Ships, Spirit Photography, the Long Island Witch Trials, John Winthrop’s Alchemy, Star-Crossed Lovers, The ghostly apparition at the Country House Restaurant, and William Sidney Mount’s spirit filled paintings plus Women Mediums and the Suffrage Movement.
The Walking Tour takes place on October 26th and 27th at 10:45am and 3:50pm at the Grist Mill. Tickets are $15 per person. Reservations are required. Call 631-751-2244 to reserve your spot.
Included in the ticket price is either a dessert at the Country House OR a glass of wine from Mirabelle at Three Village Inn. The purchase of an entrée is required for both.
