Here's what you had to say:

This group of nominations were made from April 28 to May 5.

🌷🌷🌷

My mom is an amazing 74-year-old who helps me with my two autistic sons.  She is always there for me when I need her.  When I call her she answers right away and when I need her help she is always there within minutes.  She always helps her children and grandchildren before helping herself.  My mom definitely needs some pampering!

Samantha, nominating her mom Carol

🌷🌷🌷

Even though she has numerous health issues, Michelle always puts her kids first. Working around her doctor's appointments and living in pain, she does whatever she can to make her 3 young kids happy. Whether it's taking time after work to take them to do something fun or making sure their favorite lunches are packed every day for school, she goes above and beyond at all times to make sure her kids are taken care of. She is truly the best mom around!

David, nominating Carol

🌷🌷🌷

Mom, wife, master's college student, pre-school teacher.......amazing how she does it all with a smile!

Christine, nominating Mollie

🌷🌷🌷

Always getting things done and puts others first.

She has two girls under the age of 5.  She is working as a therapist helping others and taking care of her family.  She could use a relaxing day!

Liz, nominating Kathryn

🌷🌷🌷

Once married we faced a tremendous challenge to have children. She endured countless tests..needles..invasive treatments and after 10 years our twin miracles were born. Fast fwd to covid 19.... she never missed a beat with our children's education when schools closed all while still virtually teaching her own students virtually. God bless all the moms this mother's day  and be thankful for what has always been there...her love.

Eric, nominating his wife Jaimie

🌷🌷🌷

Heather works full time as a teacher and is an outstanding mom to her three young children. She does it all with grace. She would give you the shirt off her back and never even tell you it was her’s. She is an advocate for her students and a mental health champion. Above all else though, she is a mom. She leads by example and her children are all avid hikers, nature lovers and crafters. She never lets their labels define them. She never takes time for herself and is completely deserving of this gift certificate. She is a super-mom!

Kristen, nominating Heather

🌷🌷🌷

She has two little kids (6 and 2) that she is homeschooling. She suffers from a rare condition that causes massive fatigue and muscle pains. Yet, she is still an amazing mom who devotes all her time to her children. She deserves a relaxing break at the spa! :)

Maria, nominating Bonnie

🌷🌷🌷

My mother is an amazing, strong, woman. One of my brothers was born with Cerebral Palsy. He is wheelchair-bound, unable to walk, and needs help with many things. Throughout his entire life, my mom has done everything she can to give him the most "normal" life possible. She is 64 years old and still lifting him out of his chair, into the bathroom, shower, bed, etc. She has dedicated her life to taking care of him and making sure all of his needs are met. That is why I would love to nominate her for a spa gift certificate! She could use the time to relax and focus on herself for once!

Dana, nominating her mom Keri

🌷🌷🌷

Jen is a great friend of mine who is the most dedicated mother I know. Her son had autism and epilepsy and is in need of constant attention to support his behavioral needs as well as everyday daily functions. On top of her loving ways to her son she teaches children with autism. Jen is an unbelievable person and doesn’t ever give herself enough credit or time for herself. She is in desperate need for a day to herself to restore her well being.

Kristie, nominating her friend Jennifer

🌷🌷🌷

My wife’s mom was diagnosed w cancer. My wife is a social worker for UCP (spec needs).  She has no time for herself between work, taking her mom to and from Sloan, her handicapped sister is now living with us and requires total care, and she cares for our two daughters and still wakes up with a smile each day. She takes our girls to all events on top of it and ensures our youngest w her own needs get taken care of.

Adam, nominating wife Paulette

🌷🌷🌷

My mom is amazing because she cares about me and my sister.  She’s a single mom who does her best with everything. She also is really funny, nice, and friendly. My mom loves us no matter what is happening. She is the best mom in the world!!!

Emma, nominating her mother Melissa

🌷🌷🌷

She is a single mom of two small children working full time. Her children are amazing. She is doing a great job as a young single mom.

Laurie, nominating Leah

🌷🌷🌷

Tiffany is a single mom with two amazing kids, a daughter of 9 and a son of 2. She works hard and 3 jobs on top of being a full-time mom, she never has time to do anything for herself. This would be such a treat for her to get pampered for the day and have a break for ounce in her life.

Danielle, nominating Tiffany

🌷🌷🌷

Not only is she an amazing mother, but she is also an outstanding grandmother and a true superhero to her family and community members. While working full-time as an RN in a local hospital, she still makes time for her family. Hosting holidays after returning home from working that holiday just to ensure her family is together is truly unbelievable (and just to add, everything is homemade!). Just one example of how selfless she is; she managed to drop off a cake and gift to her son-in-law immediately after having eye surgery! The list is ongoing with everything she does for her family. She is everything and more than anyone would ever want in a mother.

Carynn, nominating Theresa

🌷🌷🌷

Always puts others before herself and does everything for her children and grandchildren. From when I was a kid, always made me feel comfortable talking to her about anything at all. Best mom there is!

Jessica, nominating Janine

🌷🌷🌷

She’s the most generous person I know and always puts a smile on anyone’s face. She has had supported me all my life without her I’d never be where I am today.

Amna, nominating Shabnam

🌷🌷🌷

She has been put through my bs and has been the main caregiver of our family with dealing with my father who is disabled.

Zakk, nominating Nicolle

🌷🌷🌷

This is my mom and she is incredible. She has the past 5 years worked so hard to provide for her kids and her husband. My brother has special needs and she does everything in her power to make him happy and safe in our community. Our father had a heart attack and was fired from his job 5 years ago and since then she has worked so hard to provide for our family. Even though she has those stresses, she still helps the community every single day by working with our special education program, Girl Scouts, and local food drives. She helps as many people as possible with so many stresses in her everyday life. She invests hours in helping the community and her family. She is truly a wonderful mother.

Karlee, nominating her mom Nicolle

🌷🌷🌷

She works as a care manager and helps out a lot of the community when they need help. She made sure her clients all had what they needed when PPE was low in the beginning of Covid. She is also the primary care taker of her 80 year old mother and helps me take care of my son when I have to work. She deserves a spa day to be pampered!

Ana, nominating Debbie

🌷🌷🌷

Pat is my mother-in-law, and while many complain about their mothers-in-law, she has always treated me as one of her own children. She is always there to support us and her grandchildren and hasn't missed one of my son's baseball games, spelling bees, or concerts. She also was the caretaker to her own mother-in-law, who passed away during the pandemic. It has been a rough and difficult year, and no one is more deserving of pampering since she gives so much of herself to others.

Beth, nominating her mother-in-law Pat

🌷🌷🌷

My mother-in-law was an RN for 55 years in labor & delivery, working nights, while still raising 5 amazing kids. I lost my mom to cancer 18 years ago, but she took me in her heart as one of her own when I married her son 9 years ago. She’s a gracious, giving, selfless, straightforward, generous, beautiful, and funny mom, grandmother & great grandmother, and just one of the best people I know ❤️

Kara, nominating her mother-in-law Kathryne

🌷🌷🌷

My mom takes care of my grandmother who is in a wheelchair and in and out of the hospital with pneumonia plus while taking care of my 3-year-old brother and me. She works part-time due to the extra responsibilities with grandma.  Never does anything for her self and always doing for others

Sasha, nominating Patricia

🌷🌷🌷

June of 2013, our daughter just turned one, and our son had just celebrated his eighth birthday. then we got the news, I was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Since then I was fired from my employment of nineteen years, we’ve gone through all of the family’s savings, had 10 surgeries, have a heart condition, fatigue, and memory loss from the medical treatment, and continue to takes many medications to combat cancer and side effects. The family goal was, one, to keep positive about the treatments and to keep the kids as involved with outside activities, to keep them as well adjusted as humanly possible. As of today, we’ve accomplished that, our son made the varsity Track & Football teams as a fifteen-year-old and our daughter was in dance and gymnastics. We’re beyond proud of their accomplishments throughout this ordeal. We were recently given notice from our landlord that after fourteen years, we either have to purchase the house or move. Amanda has been through so many difficulties over the past eight years and truly is deserving.

Eddie, nominating Amanda

🌷🌷🌷

The way she takes care of everyone in her life. My kids, her students, her family, and me. She truly cares about everyone she comes in contact with.

Dawn, nominating ToniAnn

🌷🌷🌷

Meghan is a wife, mother of two (Britton 10, and Adi 9), homeschools our son Britton and runs her own home starter business, after she was laid off as a result of the pandemic.  She is constantly on the go from 7 am-12 am every day. I’ve never known my wife not to go out of her way to help everyone, before herself.  She truly is a superwoman and very deserving of a day to relax and recharge. There truly isn’t enough space to describe and boast how amazing she truly is!

Jason, nominating his wife Meghan

🌷🌷🌷

Not only is my wife an amazing mother, but she is also a mental health worker, a full-time student, and goes above and beyond for anyone she meets. She is a great example of a kind, warm-hearted, hardworking woman. She is a role model for our daughter and is my best friend.

Luis, nominating his wife Mary

🌷🌷🌷

She is a nurse at Stonybrook hospital who has worked throughout the whole pandemic while raising 2 adorable boys. She is an awesome wife to my baby brother. I’m lucky to have a sister like her!

Laura, nominating her sister-in-law Brittany

🌷🌷🌷

Alise is an amazing mom for so many reasons. Alise has been an educator for about 20 years, always considering her students as her kids. After having a challenging road to motherhood and never giving up, Alise and her husband received the best news they could have asked for about expecting their first child in 2018. While pregnant with their daughter Faith, Alise took so many precautions and had many doctor visits weekly to ensure the health and safety of herself and her daughter. Alise wanted Faith to have a sibling and went through all the necessary precautions as well to give Faith a brother- Jaxxon, born in August 2020. Alise always follows through as a mom. She is always there. Because of a recent promotion at work, she wakes up at 4 am daily to get herself and her children ready for the day. She makes sure that no matter what her hours at work are, that she is spending time with them, as time is the greatest gift you can ever give anyone. As soon as she gets in from a long workday, she makes dinner for her and her family, reads books, gives bath time, prays with them, and puts them to sleep. Weekends are filled with family time, swim lessons, etc. Alise is truly considered a super mom in my eyes. Although these seem like typical mom tasks, Alise deserves to win this nomination because she is balancing her time, and putting her children and their happiness and safety first is always her priority. Alise knows the challenges of becoming a mother and I believe that because of this, she extends herself, her life, and her knowledge of motherhood to those who are new moms or going through the same challenges she faced to help those women become moms.

Victoria, nominating Alise

🌷🌷🌷

Kat is a wonderful lady in general!! She is a mom of two nonverbal autistic children with lots of needs. They have been nonverbal since 2.5 years old and are now 12 & 13. She barely gets to do anything for herself, and does most for everyone around her! Her children are doing a hybrid school this year with lots of extra services and accommodations! Not only is she a rock star mom but she also works full-time as a nurse at Stony Brook University Hospital!!  At the height of the covid pandemic, she was juggling being a mom to special needs children and dealing with a catastrophe at work with such grace and pride! She doesn’t really have the time, the money, or the resources to treat herself to something special like this! I think she would feel appreciated if she won! She would feel seen and heard and it would give her a little burst of rejuvenation after such a tough year of finely balancing being an incredible autistic mommy advocate and warrior in the front lines!! Please consider her for this awesome giveaway as I know she would appreciate it so very much!

Meghan, nominating Kathleen

🌷🌷🌷

My mother is truly an amazing woman. Anyone who knows her knows the love she has for her family. She helps and gives back to the community when she can. She is the first person to give her last dollar away and the shirt off her back without hesitation. Just recently on March 12, 2021 my sister passed away at the young age of 31. She left behind 3 children and now my mother had custody of all 3 babies. She has been non stop since that day and has showed tremendous strength for her children and grandchildren. She certainly is deserving of a nice relaxing spa day. Thank you for considering my hero .. my mom.

Raven, nominating her mom Deborah

🌷🌷🌷

My sister Nancy is the mom of 3 kids. She never once complained after undergoing radiation and chemo for cancer (twice) and a pituitary tumor, which has caused other medical issues. She worked almost the entire time while going through this. She is now taking care of our mother who battled and survived Covid, sometimes getting up several times a night to make sure our mom has everything she needs. I would love for my sister to receive the appreciation she deserves. ❤

Danielle, nominating her sister Nancy

🌷🌷🌷

She recently lost her mother to Covid, who was her best friend, amazing grandmother, and mentor. She has an 8-year-old and 4-year-old twins. Was laid off right before Covid.... she has been helping her dad, remaining the rock of her family. The woman never stops and deserves some downtime ❤️

Tara, nominating Erin

🌷🌷🌷

Melissa is a mom who has many responsibilities. Her son Jayden just turned 3, he is her one and only and is her entire world. Jayden is autistic and amazingly bright. Melissa is an attorney in Suffolk County so her workload is plenty but what she does with Jayden is even more amazing. She is also running for the Board of Education in our school district to make sure Jayden and every other child are given every opportunity to the best education they deserve. She advocates for animals and runs fundraisers each year to help rescue and animals. She has her work cut out for her for sure but her #1 priority is and will always be her son Jayden. Melissa goes out of her way for so many people and deserves this in so many ways. I would love to see her win this- it’s sooooo deserved and I know she would 1000% appreciate it.

Jennifer, nominating Melissa

🌷🌷🌷

Jacqueline has always wanted kids. She has that nurturing manner to her. After I lost my mom, jacqueline was not only my best friend but she became my mom too In a sense, always offered me sane advice, never judgmental and just always there. After we both became parents -she made it all look easy. I love her dedication to her kids and being able to balance it all even when things are literally falling apart around. I thank her for her strength to just keep going no matter what. She is an amazing friend but an even better mom to her children, and to mine too. I’m forever thankful for her!

Tara, nominating Jacqueline

🌷🌷🌷

She’s a single mom to two young girls and also a nurse and Covid hero. She sacrifices so much and will do anything for her girls. She is an amazing mom and deserves some “me” time.

Amanda, nominating Nancy

🌷🌷🌷

She is mom of a daughter, 14 years old and a son who is only 10 months. She is always there for them and is a selfless person always putting the needs of her family first before her own. She has some health issues and still pushes through the pain each and every day. She is a generous person with a huge heart and I only hope she knows that she deserves a day to herself to have time to recharge.

Nicole, nominating Gabrielle

🌷🌷🌷

My mom is the typical Irish mom who has given everything of herself to others.  She never pampers herself and always puts herself second, third, fourth, etc.. She and my dad built their dream house upstate where they were very happy. My dad got sick (diagnosed with multiple myeloma), and her world changed. My sister and I are both nurses so were aware of the care he needed and told her she had to move back to the island. Without hesitation, she knew she had to give up her dream house and life upstate and come back. They lived with my sister for a year and then settled into a condo in Miller Place. Thankfully, after a long road, my dad is in remission... but I know my mom longs to be upstate doing yard work and seeing her friends. No one ever knows where life will take you, but my mom has been gracious and quiet during all of this. She desperately needs a day of pampering, because she would never do this for herself.

Tricia, nominating her mom Patricia

🌷🌷🌷

She’s an amazing wife and mom of three boys. Which basically keeps her on her toes all day. But she’ always has a smile on her face and is ready  to take on any challenge handed to her. The rock of our family. You’d be silly not to pick her!!

Salvatore, nominating Madelyn

🌷🌷🌷

She selflessly gives everything to her family and others around her. She is an amazing woman and deserves some relaxation

Jessica, nominating Susan

🌷🌷🌷

Kathy is the strongest mom I've met so far. She has endured a lot of challenges yet she still gets by every single day.  I'm sure she misses her own children and husband so much but she finds joy and love with her granddaughter and grandson. Her own children are definitely looking over her all the time, so proud of their mom. Not only was Kathy giving her grandkids so much love as a grandmother but also giving them the love that her own children would be giving each their own kid.

Marie, nominating Kathy
